BIOMEDevice Boston 2014 (an MD&M Event)
How was the the BIOMEDevice trade show in Boston, MA?
On Wednesday March 26th we had steady traffic at the show, despite the rain; on Thursday March 27th the foot traffic remained steady.
All in all, it has been a productive week for the engineers, designers and R&D teams. While at the show some of the attendees were introduced to the Reaction Injection Molding process for the first time. While others took the opportunity to learn even more about the thermoset resins and the characteristics of the molding process. We were able to offer ideas about how to design for complex polyurethane enclosures using of loose pieces and we were able to explain some of the cost & time saving benefits of integrated geometry, using the RIM process.
