Project Engineer

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with customers and vendors to quote parts and tooling for new parts
• Work with in-house and outside tool shops to procure new molds and to make changes to existing molds
• Work with customers to get new products into production
• Review drawings and CAD files
• Tool design reviews
• Create BOM’s, routings and work instructions

Skills/Requirements:

• Associate degree or beyond is desired
• Experience with plastic part detail design and preferably with other manufacturing processes
• Project Engineer experience either as a key member or as a team
• Experience quoting parts, tooling and manufacturing processes
• Experience setting and meeting schedules
• Experience working with toolmakers
• Able to accomplish a large quantity of work
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Well organized, accurate and detail oriented
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
