Prototypes

Premold Corp provides prototype parts quickly. Your production parts may even be designed for a different process like injection molding.  Advantages of our cast urethane prototype parts are reducing your lead times and the  ability to mold both preliminary and or final part designs.  Many times this also saves you money.

Stereolithography (SLA) models generated from your CAD files can be used to create silicone molds.  The silicone molds can provide many cast urethane parts for you with very short lead times. These prototype molds can serve as bridge tooling until your production molds are completed.

A great advantage of Premold Corp providing both prototypes and production Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) parts is that Premold Corp can provide design advice during the prototyping stage.   This allows you to test the parts in their production configuration instead of having to make design changes after prototyping.   We also save you time because you only need to communicate your needs once to Premold Corp to cover both your prototype and production needs.
